— Surrender & Intake

Letting go is sometimes the responsible choice.

If you can no longer care for your animal, we receive surrenders with professionalism and without judgment. The intake process is designed to understand your pet, not to question your decision.

What we ask and why it matters

The intake form covers your animal's history, temperament, and any known behavioral patterns. That information helps us match them to the right home — not evaluate whether you should have surrendered.

We are transparent about current capacity and realistic about timelines. If there is a wait, we will tell you before you arrive. We do not take in animals we cannot responsibly place.

Once an animal is in our care, we conduct a behavioral assessment and hold them until a suitable match is confirmed. You will not be contacted again unless you ask us to keep you informed.

Tell us about your animal

Fill out the form and a staff member will follow up within two business days to confirm capacity and next steps. There is no obligation until you hear back.
